My name is Charmin (yes, like the toilet paper), and I am the creative force behind Starlit Photography YEG. As a dedicated Métis photographer, I am not only the scheduler but also the editor of all the photos, the manager, the main contact and everything else that comes with Running your own small business.

In addition to my professional Endeavours, I take pride in being a wife, mother, and aunt. I have been on this journey of life with my husband, Lee, for the past 20 years, and we have been married for 8. It has been a wild ride raising Our children, Hayden (15) and Payton (8), to add to our family we have been entrusted with full guardianship of our nieces, Keira (17) and Cyanne (16). With four kids, two cats, and a dog (and hopefully another furry friend soon, right Lee?), our home is always bustling with energy. My amazing and busy family have always been my motivation and inspiration every day.

Apart from my personal life, I am a passionate advocate for mental health. If you have any questions about how mental health intertwines with my business, please don't hesitate to ask. In the near future, I will be launching a blog, offering a glimpse into who i am, how i got here and hopefully where i am going. My journey in photography began nearly 16 years ago when my son, Hayden, was born. Like many new mothers, I wanted to capture every little moment and create lasting memories. Little did I know that this would ignite a deep passion within me along with providing me a form of therapeutic expression. my children have always been a constant source of inspiration for my art. As my photography expanded to encompass families, events, businesses, and products, I realized a common thread among them all—a desire to freeze these significant moments in time. Whether it's capturing the reality of a client's family, an event, or a business, I’ve approached every session with the same level of dedication I would give to my own.

Now, as I embark on this new phase of my life, I am diving in headfirst, fully committed to providing you with timeless glimpses frozen in a single photograph. I hold nothing back, pouring my heart and soul into every session.
